GSMC is a Moroccan mining corporation that owns and operates mines in Morocco. We operate in two minerals business markets – The Base Metals, Industrial Products and the Crystals market - two distinct markets with different sales channels.
GSMC operates its business from offices in Northern and Southern California in the US, and offices in Casablanca and Beni Mellal, Morocco.
The continuous exponential growth in global economies in the Far East and other developing countries provides a significant indication that the demand for base metals, building materials, and other minerals will continue to grow.
Morocco is rich in minerals and is located in a strategic trading location, a natural gateway between Africa, Europe, The Middle East and the Americas. It is too expensive to excavate and transform minerals in Europe.
The United States and Morocco signed a free trade agremment (FTA) March 2, 2004.
This agreement has been effective since January 1, 2006.
